The Challenge We Face

Today’s world is fractured by divisions—of race, faith, gender, identity, nationality, and culture. These divisions fuel conflict and entrench an “us versus them” mindset that erodes trust and cooperation.

Modern neuroscience shows that up to 96% of human thought and behaviour operates unconsciously, driven by survival instincts and sympathetic nervous system dominance. In this “autopilot mode,” we make snap judgments and act from bias rather than true perception.

As a result, we fail to recognize the full spectrum of human merit and overlook extraordinary potential in ourselves and others. Even within seemingly unified groups, separation persists: “I” against “you,” rather than a united “we.”

This must change—and it can.
